YEAH!!! Give him one Max!!! You know you want to!!!

Absolutely amazing fic, short but sweet, and you didn't even need to wake Alec up! That's real skill!!! :D

So much denial it's painfully humorous.  I like that it takes something like Alec getting himself shot for someone else to finally make Max see past the image of him she's painted in her own mind.  She's stubborn enough that it would definitely require something drastic like that to shake her out of her delusions.  And still she can't just come right out and admit it, she has to sneak around about it, it's so perfectly Max.

Thanks for writing - Heather

Author's Response:

:D Alway love to hear that people have like my story/ies. Though I have to comment and say that I wasn't going for Alec getting shot to make Max realize things, but more that it was so much closer to home (Cindy is her best girl, after all!) That said, I did try to keep Max her stubborn self and I'm glad that it came across, hopefully  not overdone, either. :D

I usually find it hard to write Max, so your positive reinforcement is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the comments and compliments! As always, happy to entertain...and happier still to hear from you :D

I like it.

About time something makes her 'see' him. And we all know Alec has a kind of extra-strong gravity field that pulls in bullets.

Jokes aside, this is a tight piece of writing. Nicely put together, and though I am a teensy bit dissapointed that Alec didn't wake, I like what you did too. realising that for better or worse Alec sees her as part of his family. Or unit. Pard.

Author's Response:

I didn't want to ruin the moment. If Alec woke, Max would run or start arguing or something. I wanted her to have her time to think. I also think he would feel comfortable and safe enough around her to completely relax. I see that as the ultimate bond betrween them as friends and it speaks very highly of his regard for her. Wish she'd have seen it too, seen it the way I meant it, but my muse didn't want Maxie to have TOO much of an epiphany...

Thanks for commenting, sweets! Glad you enjoyed it.
