Oooh, that was a hot story, Dacia.
I really liked the way Alec took over the situation in TC and put a stop to the escalation by sending Max away before anything worse could have happend.
Max and White did a lovely game of cat and mouse in the Needle; cute who turned out to be the hunter and who the prey... hehe
Still, the fact I liked most about your story was that neither Max nor White were simply victim or attacker; both came to take some and give some - and they both were gorgeously acerbic with each other.
