You had me laughing throughout. The kids' development and Max's observations were entertaining, to say the least :)

I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to answer this! Somehow, I missed the email altering me that you had reviewed.
I'm so glad that you enjoyed it! I had a blast writing it. It was so much fun to give Max and Alec their happy ending. It was also so much fun to play with Alex and Mara at last - I've had those two in mind for even longer than I've had this fic sitting on my computer. They were originally going to be part of a much more serious, angst-filled story, though that one never did get off the ground. Who knows, maybe someday. :) )
