Well, huh! I'm imagining all kinds of scenarios.
How'd they get there and where is there and who is the they in the background running the show?
And then the other questions that arise. Why is she calling him Ames? Was there something between them before or is she simply trying to rile him up by being familiar? But wait, she doesn't seem surprised that they're suddenly roommates so now I'm not quite sure what's going on, so I go back to my original set of questions - how'd they get therer, where is 'there' and who is the they behind the scenes...
Oh, the possibilities...! :D I love a piece that makes me think. And I love you for being the one to make it happen :)
