I enjoyed the dialogue here. I think they seemed very much in character - no case of overly bitchy Max or pushover (or pathetic) Alec - which can be seen in quite a few Heat/morning after stories. I found this one very believable.
I liked Alec's confidence (why shouldn't he be?) and that he sticks up for himself and didn't/wasn't run off by Max's attitude or comments.
And I'm glad she took a look at her behavior and decided to think things through.
