I love this entire series, but this one is particularly poignant.  You're not quite sure at first, where Max is or why she's gone.  You think maybe it's just a mission or she's off visiting Cindy for a girls night or something.  And then...  wham.  Very well written.

Okay, I just read through the series and that last one... it's like a punch to the gut after the previous six! You killed her?!! Hehe, either way, these were well written and their relationship progressed smoothly, even if it ended somewhat abruptly ;D

I thoroughly enjoyed the smutty, fluffy goodness of this series.  I especially enjoyed your portrayal of Max as a begger in the bedroom and of Alec as a closet romantic - it provides a nice juxtaposition with their bitchy and cavalier facades, respectively.  It's a toss up for me whether my favorite is Rain or 946.

I have to admit, though, that when I re-visit this series, I tend to avoid reading the last installment.  Not that it isn't just as well written as the rest, it's just that I'm a sucker for a happy ending and you wrote Alec's pain so poignantly it's a little rough to read.
