Great fic. Seems very familiar. Have you posted it somewhere before? Probably read it there. Still, as before, I thought it was great and an awesome insight into Adam's life. I love reading about what happens to him after he goes with Buddy :D

The question about what happened with Zack/Adam after he left his previous life behind for good intrigued me very much too. So much so, that I finally began to try my hand at making up my own version. His character fascinated me from the first appearance he made on the show - and never left off.
About coming across his story somewhere else, I posted it on my ff.net account as well, that's true but only after I put it up here yesterday. In fact, I only finished writing a couple of hours before submitting it for the SummerSizzler Challenge.
But then, maybe it was another fic with a similar point to start from, who knows.

Nicely done, sweets! I love the way his flashbacks crept in, the struggle and frustration he felt. The shocking and realistic acknowledgments that Mary was a beautiful woman, and his self control in dealing with the rising emotions.
Reintroducing White was a nice twist. Leant the ending an air of uncertainty and planted a seed of hope that you'll have yet another follow-up piece or three :) I can see this becoming a full fledged series. Would you indulge me, pretty, pretty please? I'm partial to Zack stories if you didn't know :P

I "had" to rewatch a ton of Zack episodes from season one [I know, what a chore! ;-) ] in order to try and get him right; his strong mind and how he might react to such a disturbing situation. Plus, I couldn't, for the life of me, remember the names of Buddy and Mary until I dug out "Some Assembly Required" somewhere online. hehe
White... *evil laugh* I was pondering until the very moment I posted whether I should list him with the characters to begin with, lest I spoil the surprise.
And yes, rest assured, Shay, I am SO going to make this a series (if only I knew how to correct the setting for the two stories into "series: yes" *dramatic sigh*). I've already got a title (still a secret, of course) and a story outline for the next installment. *rubs hands in glee*
So, just in case you haven't notices yet, I'm right there in line with you concerning Zack... and strangely as well with OBC about White as of late.
