Awesome conclusion to a very good set of drabbles! I loved your set-up and execution of the prompt challenge. Very good job, I enjoyed all of them! ^_^
Date: 03 Nov 2009 07:58 PM Title: Alec McDowell
Alec's going to back up Max. I like how you mentioned his evolution from pretty much disliking her entirely to respecting her. He's got her back, even if she doesn't realize it.
Date: 03 Nov 2009 07:56 PM Title: Colonel Lydecker
He's ALIVE! You just can't kill Lydecker; he's impossible to squash. I love how he's proud of her at this moment.
Date: 03 Nov 2009 07:53 PM Title: Joshua
Awww! Joshua is so certain that Max will know what to, it's sweet! He's going to back her up, no matter what.
Date: 03 Nov 2009 07:50 PM Title: Thula the Familiar
Another freaky Familiar. lol, I've never seen anything from her POV, but I think you caught her well. Thula wants revenge, and I have no doubt she'll try to get it.
Date: 03 Nov 2009 07:47 PM Title: Ames White
Ahh, White is so hateful! Of course he'd think Familiars were superior to everyone, both humans and transgenics. He's frightening in his overwhelming hatred. O_O
Date: 03 Nov 2009 07:44 PM Title: OC (Original Cindy)
I could definitely see this being OC's POV. She sees the transgenics as people, not soldiers. Nice job!
Date: 03 Nov 2009 02:49 PM Title: Mole
Very good characterization of Mole in this moment. A little annoyed and a little bitter, with good reason. Having spent his entire life in Manticore and being a transhuman can't be easy on a guy.
Date: 03 Nov 2009 01:42 AM Title: Logan Cale
Hopefully she listened to some of what Clemente said! I could definitely see this being what's going through Logan's head. He's worried about Max and probably wondering what the future is going to be like. Good drabble!
Date: 02 Nov 2009 05:12 PM Title: Detective Clemente
I like that he's hopeful even in the face of all that advesity. Maybe Clemente will become a Pro-Familiar Police Person! We can only hope.

That's a burden I don't envy. Girl has a brief time to consider and weigh options that will affect the lives of so many, to change the future and make history.
And even though we know what her decision was, I like how you left it here - with that uncertainty to it, no real answer in sight, just uncertain choices and the weight of the world and the fate of her people on her young shoulders.
----- + ----- + ----- + -----+
I really enjoyed all of these perspectives of this collection. It's really interesting to see the one scene from so many sides and opinions.
A wonderful addition to the fan fict pool here on RH, and a great challenge response. Thanks so much for taking part!
Date: 30 Oct 2009 09:27 PM Title: Alec McDowell
Very succinctly put.
Alec's face at the raising of the flag really fits with this. There is confidence, belief, determination and unwavering support in his stand and pledge.
Date: 30 Oct 2009 09:22 PM Title: Colonel Lydecker
As far as I'm concerned, this is the perfect voice. There is underlying frustration, fondness, a little awe (he sure seems impressed,) perhaps a bit of worry - for her - and that good old Lydecker pride.
Wonderful work.
Date: 30 Oct 2009 09:17 PM Title: Joshua
Sweet, loyal Joshua. Great heart and great courage. I always liked that about him :)
Even though Max was on the outside, she was still trapped. (I always said that about Zack - he never seemed to break free of Manticore and it was much worse in his case.) Joshua is just the guy to pick up on that.
And did I mention, good, sweet and loyal? *hugs him*
Date: 30 Oct 2009 09:10 PM Title: Thula the Familiar
Ah! Thugly Thula! (Woman gave me the heebie-jeebies *shudders*)
I think the order of priority was interesting. Sounds just like I would imagine my Familiars; huge ego that comes first and foremost, the blame game - it's always someone else's fault first, and then the core of things.
Truly screwed up people. Very nicely done :)
Date: 30 Oct 2009 09:02 PM Title: Ames White
Oh, brava, my darling! I love me an angry Ames White. He's so intense.
The decision only proved to him that humans were indeed beneath the Familiars.
Great line. Loving the way your Ames thinks. The superiority, the arrogance, the hate.
And so very clearly not the end...
Date: 30 Oct 2009 08:57 PM Title: OC (Original Cindy)
Perceptive, inn't she? (Though if everyone else stopped thinking of them as freaks and outcasts, they might have seen the very same things she did. *sigh* Prejudice really bites.) Great observations.
Date: 30 Oct 2009 08:51 PM Title: Mole
Oh, wonderful shot! This tiny window to Mole's mind fits his canon character (as we saw it in canon, at least) perfectly.
I don't recall...did we ever learn what the motivation was behind Mole supporting the motion to remain in Seattle? (bad memory on LAtR and FN details... I had many issues with those episodes.)
Date: 30 Oct 2009 08:47 PM Title: Logan Cale
Logan's character has stumped me in the past. At times he can be selfless and other times he can come across as a tad selfish. (Then again, he's human and that's most definitely typical behavior for many people.) I like that here he seems to be thinking the same way he did when he drove Max and Zack up to the cabin and was helping her escape for her safety.
I do wonder, though, what he thought of the eventual stand she made to stay in Terminal City...
Date: 30 Oct 2009 08:40 PM Title: Detective Clemente
Oh, this was a nice little reflection! Mostly when people use Clemente he appears in a larger story and ties something together or bridges some gap or other. This was great; just a tiny look at how he viewed the (self-appointed) Transgenic leader.
Date: 24 Oct 2009 11:24 AM Title: Max Guevara
Nice... I'm getting to know what all of them are thinking at the same crucial momentthat all of them are in. Gives it a whole other insight then what the show could have. My favs were OC, Alec and Max.
I liked this, this was very interesting.
