I love how they were both so willing to support each other in their imagined attachment to someone else and actually feeling pain for the other person.

This is a lovely little piece - from the angst to the hurt and to the happy ending.
Particularly nice to see an honest Max who doesn't let Alec suffer too long. I feel for Logan, though. At least it wasn't dragged out...
