Shay is right, there should be a sequel or prequel or companion fic to this one ;) I mean, Alec and Ames, on speaking terms, we need to know how it happens! haha
I like the title, btw. My blood do rush to my head at the ending hee Job well done! Thanks for sharing this :)

Interesting conversation between the two men (who I wouldn't have expected to be on such friendly terms tough). Looks like they both were on the receiving end and in a way shared an understanding because of it.
I really liked how the story flowed and smoothly blended the challenge words into the dialogue. Alec's astonishment in the end was priceless.
Well done, a nice and easy read (in all the positive ways).

I love your White stories=D I've missed them in my hiatus, and now I'm going to reread some.

OBC!!! You're back!! *grabs the 'cat by the hands and twirls around the room*
Okay, so you have to know that you can't get away with this. I'm going to demand - AND GET! - a sequel or prequel with backstory or futurestory to sate my hunger and appease my curiosity. It's a given, so don't even think about getting out of it.
Okay, now that we've covered the important parts... :P
I like how this piece kept me wondering. I knew from the outset (your story details listed Ames and Alec and they're talking/agonizing over a woman. You generally give me good Ames/Max or thereabouts so I had to figure - at least I hoped - that it was Max Ames was lamenting about though I wasn't certain. Then there was the whole thing where I wasn't quite sure if they were together or not, and if they were, in what capacity. Again, by the clues, I'm guessing they were, and closely, but that Max was being herself and keeping her distance. *coughfemalefogbankcough*
And lastly, and this isn't an uncerainty but a great big belly-laugher, great ending :) *grins so widely the jaw cracks* Loved it.
I'll be waiting for that 'extra' installment, hon. And in the meantime, come find me. I'm not amused with your disappearing act. *pouts*
