Awesome story! Very tenderly told and not one bit too emotional. On the contrary, this rang really true and in character for both of them IMHO.

I always liked Zack on the show anyway, particularly his keeping watch over the others; he wasn't perfect but did the best he knew how to do.

I know I told you I enjoyed this piece and that I greatly appreciated the effort :) but I wanted to say it again.

There are too few stories about Zack in the fandom and it saddens me further that so many of the few that did exist have disappeared. So thank you for adding to the small pool of available fics out there :)

I like your Zack. He admits Max is a weakness, but one he's willing to give into if he were given the chance. I like to think Zack would be patient. I also like to think that if Max got away from her pet ordinary, that she would be more open to the idea of one of her own kind. Many people would disagree with me or argue strongly against Zack being an option relationship-wise, but I always thought it could work for a good many reasons. If Max would take her mind of the distraction that is Logan Cale, she might focus on the reality of Zack's sacrifices, his willingness to do just about anything for her and his obvious love for her. 

Well, even if the show never realized my fantasies, I can thank you for fueling them with fan fiction.
