Okay, I just read over my review, and I wanna point something out. I was not surprised that you could write even though it may have come across that way *ducks head in embarassment* I was just so completely floored by that piece that I was momentarily speechless and, as I discovered afterward, not quite as eloquent as I can be. I think it was amazing, hence the ten stars, and because I can't add more than ten stars, I'll just add ten to this :D

Very tense story with a sneaky twist, sad and catching from beginning to end.

Alec's misery (and brutal torture) broke my heart - and obviously White's as well in a way because eventually he was sick of the pointless violence and tried something else entirely.

Writingwise, this was superb! I liked in particular how you listed the increasing number of days for the different methods of depriviation "Four days without water, thirteen without food [...]" and characterized White with amazing sentences like "Ames had to leave the viewing room then, had to march up and down the hall until the urge to enter the room and tear the genetic abomination limb from limb faded. It took a long time." WOW!

I merely struggle a bit with the PG13 rating for this, no offence.
