Okay, I decided to give this story a look-see... and it's heartbreaking! ~ Cries ~ The connection for this pairing was interesting (though I am not an Alec/Ames shipper or anything), I liked how you worked it. Didn't care for the ending though, way to said and just cruel to us all! Other then that, I liked it.:)

Author's Response: I'm so glad you decided to try it. I'm afraid people are put off by the pairing - but it's not a graphic or detailed relationship, really, so I don't understand *cries*

Anyway... Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I'm glad you weren't too disappointed :P And well, the ending wasn't happy for me either, you know! But it was necessary for the plot bunny. You know how it is when you have an idea that will not give you peace until you've finished with it? Well, in my case it was this story and this ending. At least I can say that whoever *did* read and comment enjoyed and experienced everything I intended them to! :D

*hugs tight* Thank you for reading and reviewing, hon! It means so much!

Very poetic and eloquently told Shay.  Not a fan of the Alec/White pairing and tend to shy away from the those stories but this was really good.  Thanks for expanding my horizons.

Author's Response:

Well, to be perfectly honest, while I like White's character, I never really saw him with Alec, either :P I just happened to be bitten by a strange plot bunny that wouldn't leave me alone. At all. So I figured, I may as well give it a shot and if its rubbish, I'll toss it and if it meets approval (by my two unnofficial but always betas, Wildsky and fee_kh) then I'd polish and post. This was the result.

Must say I'm pleased that you enjoyed it. Especially (as you said) since it's not a typical pairing. :D Every so often I like to try something different and now that I've filled my quota (for the time being, at least) I'll try to finish my WIPs.

So, again, thank you for reading and commenting - you always say the nicest things! *hugs*

Btw, do you use any form of chat/messenger? I'd love to get to know you a bit - and email tag isn't something I enjoy much. What say you?

That is so beautiful... makes my heart twist and tears threaten. You have captured their personalities so completely, so realistically, that it is not hard to believe the two could connect this way. Once again, you've written an amazingly thought-provoking piece.

Have you heard of Time's Awastin an Alec and Ames community? I'm sure they'd love this piece too... xxx

Author's Response: Hey, toots! Missed you muchly!!

Thank you for  your wonderful comments, you  made me blush! Really! As in staining of the cheeks and that weird warm feeling beneath the skin *shivers* freak! :D Anyway, really. Thank you so much for reading and commenting as you did. It really made my day.

Btw, thanks for the community rec on LJ. I just came back from there :) I'm glad to see there are other A/W fans :) It's a nice change! *hugs again* be in touch, yeah??

BTW2 - and FYI! Dunno if you got my email, but you posted the A is for, B is for story up without a letter W!! What's up with that, dude?! I've been waiting for my W installment :(
