That was a hell of a ride (pardon the pun) What a hot team you made of our Alec and Max. Not a hint of twee - so utterly true to their character and back story. The love between them grew realistically - and it was bloody sexy. Well done. I need a shower. A cold one.

There are so many heat stories in this fandom (not that I'm complaining), that it was nice to see a new twist on the phenomenon.  I like the way you wrote the interaction between the heats, as more of a gradual thawing of Max/Alec relations that becomes a mating, rather than an instantaneous love fest.  And as for the smut aspect, you completely nailed it.  Alec's dirty mouth once he starts talking to her during their heat encounters - just about the hottest thing ever!

Hey, hon! *hugs you tight, tight, tight!* I'm sooooooo so happy you brought this over here to us! 

I've already told you how much I liked this story. *grins wolfishly* It's just the right kind of HOT and raw and animal. I loved the development and the dissipation of her denial and reluctance, his increased desire and possessivenes... They're quite a pair, huh?

I, for one, cannot wait to see more of your work. I know you said you haven't written other DA, mostly consumed by other projects, but I truly hope you will consider trying your hand at, at least one more story, smut or otherwise. You're talented; please share more of it!
