Been rereading many of my old favourites these past few days and just wanted to say again that I adore your M/W stories. They really do give me chills - in the best of ways.
Whether you're going for tenderness or aggression, their interactions are always exciting. I wonder if something will spark and set them off or if they'll wind down and just be, you know? It's also nice to know that you don't keep to a pattern (only fluff or simply angst, etc., or even just a single pairing) so it's never boring and I'm always pleasantly surprised by anything I read by you.
This particular piece makes me sigh both with content and displeasure. They seem to work well together when they're not trying to kill one another and I love when they lower their defences and just enjoy the other's presence. The upset comes when they leave and go back to the violence and the hate/anger they need to draw from to successfully fight the other side.
If you have the time, consider writing one more for me? I miss the violence-turned-happy-families fics of old and I've got a hankering for some Whax action :P
Thanks for sharing your work here, hon. You have a gfit that I love to revisit time and again.

That was kind of weird, but very well written. I'm not really a White/Max reader, but I liked this one well enough. Even if I did need to suspend DA reality for a minute (lol). Nice read.
Author's Response: Yeah, it did possibly get a little AU there! Thanks for the review, it's so great to hear a reader likes it - and what they don't like.

Another wonderful story from one of my fave authors. You are truly gifted. Also, just a gentle 'nudge' for another chpt for "Dreaming". Please, with a cherry and sprinkles on top.
Author's Response: Aww... thanks for such kind words. Glad you liked - I had so much fun writing this one, even though it's sad.rnCan't promise anything about 'Dreaming', as my real life is kinda demanding at the moment, but knowing you're waiting makes me happy and warm inside. You never know what you might find here on RH... :P

Quote: So in Alice tradition, it's your very own unbirthday present.
Hope you enjoy!(although I'm aware that it's a rather tenuous interpretation of the prompt. Sue me!!) End Quote.
Rather tenuos :P You're a hoot. OBC, you did something no one else has done (at least not that I've noticed!); you not only answered my Biggs challenge (even if only by vague mention), but you also gave me Max/White, something I absolutely adore - and have been on the receiving end of rotten tomatoes for, btw! :P I totally love you right now!!
Now for the comments.
Well written. Short, but it covered the necessary ground and gave me all I needed to understand what was what. I really enjoyed White's response to her initial confession - I could actually hear him saying, "So?...," in my head :D
But what I liked most of all was their 'agreement'. That in their own, private space up there, they shared a connection and allowed themselves to be open with each other. And I also believe that if not for their...different camps, they might be able to understand each other, so the whole finding comfort in him thing worked for me.
Well done, sweetie! Thank you so much for answering this challenge and offering me a little Slice of White :D (hehe I sound like a Wonderbread ad!)
*hugs*
~Shay
Author's Response: Big happy smile! So glad you liked it.rnrnTheir 'agreement' was probably my favourite part - especially the time he held it to the letter :PrnrnI believe that they could have been great together if not for so many things... heh!
