Cute. And Max is certainly lucky to have shark DNA. Considering tending to a newborn babe shortens remarkably the nights, I don't think she would be as perky otherwise. I hope for Alec that Pandora will adopt his sleeping patterns.

Oh I liked this a lot, especially the first two parts.  I liked the third too, but there are just some plot holes in the story.  Why wasn't Alec at the birth?  Why does he seem like he barely knew she was pregnant?  Did Max leave when she found out and then returned with a baby on Alec's doorstep or something?

I didn't catch if this was going to be continued or not, but if it is, I hope those points are expanded on.  Other than that, it was a pretty good effort.  Well done.

Author's Response:

First off, thank you so much for reviewing.  It's nice to know what people are thinking when they read my stories.  Anyway, I'm sorry if I mislead you.  I went back over the story and I can see how confusing a few of those lines can be.  What I meant was that he knew she was pregnant the whole time, he just didn't know the baby's gender.  Kind of like the whole 'I don't want to know until the baby's born' reasoning.  I tried to make it sound as if he'd been out on a mission of some sorts and couldn't make it back in time.  So he wasn't there to support Max or find out if the baby was a boy or girl.  Not a very happy thought, now that I think about it...but I can't really do anything about it now.  Max didn't leave, they were both at TC throughout the whole pregnancy period.  It was just a little tense.  I intend to go back to the story and try to clear that section up.

Also, I wasn't thinking about continuing this, but I do see a few ways in that I could and I might catch a wild hair to write something up in the future.  Unfortunately, that probably won't be any time soon.

Thanks again,
