I didn't think Max was that out of character, I liked the differences you had between them and that Alec and Sam knew each other back in Manticore. I'm a sucker for a happy ending too and I think that would have been a great ending to the ep. But alas, that was not the case :(
I liked also how you addressed Sam and Alec not meeting earlier in the ep. She might not have known that he was in love with Max but she woud have known that he'd know her. It was a great observation. And I just love Sam/Max scenes, got a few of them myself and I've always liked to think he could tell them apart. What can I say, I'm just a romantic :D
Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, that episode wasn't even close to the way I wanted it to end, but eh, what can we do? I also thought it was weird, not to mention convenient, that Sam didn't run into anyone that could have possibly known her. I mean, someone had to have known she existed. And I totally agree with you on the whole romantic end. I'm all about fluff and romance and happy endings! Anyway, thanks again for reviewing!

WOW!! just wow!! that was really sweet how Alec knows how to tell Max and Sam apart. I never expected him to kiss her
