I really like what you did here with Alec kind of inventing himself and the childlike behaviours that he has. I think a lot of people don't grasp that or express it very well in their writing. Growing up at Manticore has to of lead to some distinct differences beyond being part animal.

I was waiting for some kind of revelation - maybe Alec's, maybe Cindy's; and there wasn't one. But you didn't disappoint - I like the way you turned it into something warm without being sappy.

I read this story before, but I'm afraid I don't remember if I gave it a review. Anyways, besides the point.
I really like this story, because it shows a side of OC that you didn't really see with Alec on the show. You don't take away her attitude towards Alec, but there is a softness there that she is also showing him. We get to see their friendship rather then Alec around with Max and OC's friendship. Also, we get to see the fact that OC does care for Alec, even if some of the things she said to him were hurtful - like with Sketchy's camera and saying she did it for Max, anyone could see that statement hurt Alec somewhat because he thanked OC as a friend. So it is good to see you show the care between them both.
If you have any more with Alec and OC, I would love to read them. Great job.
