Big ol' goofy smile. Fantastic! I love it even more that Max spoke first. And their inner banter and Max's saying without saying - sounds familiar. The ending - I like to think Dix turned down the volume when he realized what was going on. Save Max embarrassment if she ever did find out, and also his hide!
