The tenses confused me a little at times but I really enjoyed the glimpse into the past. And it was even better that the girl remained largely a mystery. So we could speculate about her present fixture in Alec's life or if she's just a memory from his past. Thank you for sharing.

Aww...that was sweet! At first, I was kind of confused about what was going on, but it was the end that mattered. She was just a unit friend at Manticore way before Max and all the other meltdown occurred. And it was just a simple little kiss for Valentine's Day. Cute story, I enjoyed reading it.

And yes, it might be a little confusing because is Alec is basically doing a mental replay of his apparently normal day, and is as clueless as how it ended like that. Boys and dates are not usually a good mix :)
