I think this is a very good answer for the challenge.
And it perfectly characterises White. For him it really wouldn't matter in the end.
The story is neither to short nor to long. No details are missing. It's the perfect mixture.
Really enjoyed to read it. ^^

rnI wanted to show where his thoughts could run if he let them, and the horror he would feel at the direction they took; but ultimately the futility of them - because a pure-bred snake boy like himself couldn't possibly go *there* ... could he?!
