That actually made my heart ache for them. I remember reading this on ffnet. Can't remember if I reviewed. If I didn't I apologise, cause it deserves it.
Poor Alec, holding on by his fingertips and Max not making it any easier. And I can't imagine the next day will be much fun.
Quite sad really.

Max just didn't look at him like that. Ever. Ever is right. That wasn’t at all naughty. I feel like I read this before… but maybe I didn’t. Could’ve just been the challenge, if someone else did it. How could you not like that? You kept the reader enthralled and hung up on every word, which is what I liked most about it. I like to be able to read a story and want to read Every Single Word, to not get bored and feel the urge to skip a few sentences here and there. Great work.
