It's how I would have loved the 'triangle' to be resolved - for Alec to make Max face up to the fact that she *isn't* ordinary, and maybe an extra-ordinary lover is what she needs to accept herself!

Hot damn, that's brilliant!! I love Max and Alec fic where they struggle to get together because one of them is too dense to admit things. Much better than lovey-dove stuff where things fall into place easy as a hollywood movie... :P

I've read this in my early days as a fanfic reader and I loved this then and I love this now. Max/Alec are so twisted yet so resolved in this piece. They know what they feel and want and yet don't. Thanks!
