And to think he’d almost forgotten how hard Max could hit. That line totally broke the tension haha. Nice.  

That was great. Not quite MA in the romantic sense, but definitely pragmatic from their relationship in the show. It’s a bit refreshing actually. Generally most writers go right in for the dive. Most writers like to have a solid happy ending that ends with the schmaltzy kiss and clichéd line (I’m guilty lol) but you definitely did not do that, and still kept me fulfilled.

lovely job, hon! sweet story. poor alec for getting hurt - alomst dying, no less - to sort things for max. and the ending had a definite air of hope to it, didn't it? leaves it open to the imagination. liked that! thanks so much for sharing and congrats on being runner-up! *hugs*

Author's Response: Well, yeah!  I've got most of it written already, in fact.  I'm just putting a few finishing touches on it.  Not sure when I'll have it up here, though.  But know that it is on its way.  And thank you so much for reviewing!
