I've been so enjoying this series - have just read the whole thing at almost one sitting over Easter weekend. I love your characterisation of Alec and Mole and their interaction with each other and Stuff.
I'd love to read Ascendant, however I'm having a problem with gumboot Mafia (have been for awhile, actually), in that I can log in and see summaries for an author's stories, but not get to the page for the individual story. Is there anywhere else I can read a copy of that?

This was a rather painful, yet poignant forray into Ben's mind. Phew. I love the way he's still less than sane/normal but in a different way. Not many have the heart to let him be that way in their return-of.Ben stories. I myself would be tempted to let him be 'healed' or reprogrammed completely. Very well done, I must say. I'm not really sure I like the Ben you write, but that is as it should be, and only goes to prove your mastery of characterisation. He's not eman to be liked, I suppose. He's so ambiguous. I loved this piece of work, and the way you seem to really explore his mind through telling what's basically a mission profile. Nice! And impressive.
