Beautifully written show-down between the twins; sad but inevitable in the end. Also her saying good-bye to Ben was really sweet because she always liked him dearly despite everything that stood between them.
I liked your idea of Max not recognizing who won and who lost at first; that sounded very true since they were looking particularly alike.

Oh this was good, but heartbreaking. I still hate that Ben had to die, though I love Alec, I still hate it. Great story.

This is lovely.
Short but sweet - you use enough words to convey their emotion and drives without making it drag.
And it really works - that Ben has shadowed Alec's whole life, that Max would only confess her love at his death, that the brothers would fight each other so smoothly. After all, they are two of the same!
