Jondy's a good sister to Max and she was right. I think for the first time reading this stories of any writer I really learned something I can use here in my life. I've never thought about grief and guilt that way. Very wise. Excellent job.

I am loving this series! Have been reading it every chance I get. Have to say, I love Troy. Alec will always be my favorite but Troy is so much fun to read. I have found myself laughing numerous times from things he's done, said, or things other people have done or said to him. Love it!

I never get tired of reading this series. The banter and witicisms flow amazingly well, and knock me off my ass laughing so hard. You've stayed so true to character too and added meaning to Alec's constant chatter. Let us see behind to the highly intelligent and strategic man inside.
I'm still hoping you finish the series someday. It's too good not to finish.

Awesome!! Bravo!! This was a great fic!
I like how you dragged out the sexual tension, and I can totally imagine Alec trying to be gallant in this crazy situation, even if it caused him pain, due to his respect for Max and his feelings for her. But there's only so much a guy can take! :)
I honestly thought about doing a fic myself regarding multiple heats about 2 or 3 years ago. I don't remember how I came across that idea, if I was researching something about cats or if someone else did a multiple heat fic. But I absolutely could not have done better myself. You rock! :)

I've never read your ASHverse but I'm rethinking that decision now. Seriously, this was brilliantly written and gives some wonderful insight (in such brief snippets) into some your characters. It's refreshing and intersting to read. Wonderful stuff.

That? Totally awesome. I liked the pace, how it was all regular Alec@Command stuff and just like that, bam! It all stops.
I also completely love that while White has all these plans and actually wants Max to come barging in... that is *exactly* what she does... and totally kicks a$$.
Brilliant. All this preparing, all her powers slowly building and such a nice payoff. It might seem a bit sudden, but I like that it is. Simple, efficient. Max rocks.
And so does Syl. You truly did a wonderful job with her. Terrific character.
And the bit were Alec "brings Max back" is also a really nice touch.

wow. So much going on. Lovely action-packed installment.
The suicide bombers were indeed a good plan. You did a wonderful job of showing the conditioning with just one line. I love that you remembered Worm and used her talents.
Syl was great here. As was, of course, Alec. The conversation with Tate was totally genious.
I am so sad for Mara. For Gem and Telora too. But mostly Mara. And that letter... wow. I have to go read the rest.
Thanks again for this wonderfully thought out story. It is always great to see so much effort put into a story.

Poor Tim. But I really liked how you had Alec deal with it. Quick, no nonsense, nothing else to do. And smart of him not to let Max dwell on it long. That conversation between Max and Syl must have been interesting.
And Lydecker is back, huh? So is Ames. This should get very interesting.

I really, really like what you did here. It was funny and light and then a bit scary. But you made her strong. And even better, you made him stronger.
It's like, no matter what strange new abilities she gains, he's always there and one step ahead. I love that. She's not alone, and he's good all on his own. Perfect.

And poor Max of course. I really like that even when they gave in, it was all about respect and friendship and love. And I really like that after a few days of avoidance, she was able to accept it. Small step, but still there.
And darn, as pleasurable as all of tis was to read, I can't wait to find out what the heck is going on.

Excellent story you have here. Hadn't read it before, must be from the time I was "away" from fanfiction.
I am glad I found it. It's well written and the story itself rings true, feels like something that could happen. I really like how we see these flahes through Max's visits and yet they tell us so much about the rest of them, about Alec.
I also really like how you managed to convey a lot of things by what they didn't say. The looks, the touches, the silent conversations behind the banter.

I love how you played on the whole JP incident and how Alec tried to make her own her actions. It was an excellent role reversal, as it is, with Alec in his element and Max having to fall in line. And that you've left it open to a possible sequel *hinthint* :D
