Good beginning! I always wondered what would have happened if Jondy went in after Max, and this seems like a probable scenario. I'm off to read the next chapter!

Fun! Another Max at Manticore story! I love those :) I can't wait to see where you take this and how things develop. 494 seemed a bit annoying as opposed to loveable, but he's what, 10? And male, no less. It works ;) Good luck with the rest of this and I've got it on alert :) Thx for sharing!
