Well written fic, really sad. My only nitpick? it's a bit sudden, it could have used some building up, I think. But it is good, and it feels real.

Yeah, it was a bad habit I (think and hope I) have grown out of. Earlier on in my writing I didn't do very well with story pacing and build-up. Maybe one of these days I'll revisit the older stories and try to edit and improve them , who knows!
I must say though, I greatly appreciate these comments. It's been a while since I had a review with some honest, old-fashioned concrit! Cheers, darling :) - And thanks for reading!

OMG. Totally reviewed on the wrong site. *facepalm* Anyway...
Oh Lord. I'd somehow missed this one before. How tragically beautiful. I always thought of all the characters, Max was the one that could be pushed to the limit to finally break. That hidden streak in her, is partly what attracts me to her character so much. She's so strong, but she can be fragile too. Alec is the one that can bounce back. Max simply can't deal with her emotions and puts on tough girl face to hide behind.
*sniff*
Okay, back to uploading stories again... Hopefully I'll find one to heer me up this time...
