Wow, that was so left field I never saw it coming. Honestly I think I was in denial as he set up his sniper rifle. Must be a different Colonel though. Lydecker could never kill Max for Manticore's sake. Well put together however.

Another fic idea? Hmm....lol maybe not so soon. I can't just keep cranking out dark fics now, can I? Still...

That was kinda dark, huh? *sigh* But I liked it. If he had never truly fit in outside, if he'd always been a loyal soldier (within reason) and if he felt that Manticore truly could offer them what they needed... then Max was in obstacle that needed to be removed...though I wish it had been some other way than that!
So you don't know where it came from? Sounds like my muse...always offering strange things. But I know better than to turn her down, and besides, once in a while it's nice to come out with something a bit different.
