Summary:

After the 09 escape, 17 units were deemed 'at risk' for aberrant behavior, whether they were twins of the escapees or not.  as of 5.9.2010, only 14 remained, and bore the new designation X5R.  By 5.10.2017, there were only 10. They were the best of the best, Manticore's elite assassins and best operatives in the field.

Their Commanding Officer was X5R-494, Alec McDowell.
